The following information is for the benefit of readers who can choose to browse the pages of the site, to take precautions to consult the contents or to leave it. The provisions of the Privacy Guarantor that follow a European Directive and the subsequent GDPR regulation, acronym of General Data Protection Regulation, issued by the European Union on April 27, 2016, impose on the administrators of a website a series of rules to have the consent of readers to the processing of their data.
The administrators of this site are DELITERRANEUS SRL of Via dei Colli Storici, 18, 25015 Desenzano del Garda, Brescia who can be contacted at this email address for any problem concerning the privacy of the reader.
Cookies are text files that the visited sites send to the user’s browser and which are stored before being re-transmitted to the site on the next visit. They can be used to monitor sessions, to authenticate a user so that they can access a site, without typing their name and password each time, and to store their preferences. The so-called technical cookies are used for navigation and to facilitate the access and use of the site by the user. Technical cookies are essential, for example, to access Google or Facebook without having to log in to all sessions. They are also so in very delicate operations such as those of home banking or payment by credit card or through other systems. Cookies are called technicians if used for the purpose of optimizing the site directly by the owner of the site, who can collect information in aggregate form on the number of users and how they visit the site.
Cookies are defined as profiling if used to track the user’s navigation, to create profiles on his tastes, preferences, interests and even his searches. If you happened to see advertising banners relating to a product that you searched on the internet shortly before, the reason lies precisely in the profiling of your interests and the servers, appropriately addressed by cookies, showed you the ads deemed most relevant. No consent is required for the installation of technical cookies, while profiling cookies can be installed on the user’s terminal only after the latter has given consent and after being informed in a simplified way.
The Privacy Guarantor has established that when the user accesses a website, a banner must appear containing a brief information, the request for consent and a link for the more extensive information, such as the one on this page, on what profiling cookies are and on the use made of them on the site.
The banner must be designed to hide part of the page content and specify that the site also uses profiling cookies from third parties. The banner must be able to be deleted only with an active action by the user, such as a click. It must contain the brief information, the link to the extended information and the button to give consent to the use of profiling cookies.
It is allowed that a technical cookie is used that takes into account the user’s consent, so that the user does not have to give consent again on a subsequent visit to the site. Instead, in the extended information (this same page), the characteristics of the cookies installed by third parties must also be illustrated. It is also necessary to indicate to the user how to navigate the site without his preferences being tracked with the possibility of browsing incognito and with the deletion of individual cookies.
This site uses Google Analytics and its cookies which are considered technical if used only for optimization purposes and if users’ IPs are kept anonymous. We remind you that the data is used only to have the data of the most visited pages, the number of visitors, the aggregate data of visits by operating system, by browser, etc. Google Analytics IPs have been anonymized. These parameters are stored on Google’s servers which govern their privacy according to the guidelines of the other services.
In the GA property relating to this site, a duration of 14 months has been set for the maintenance of data storage, which in any case have been anonymized and aggregated for statistical purposes only. Google Analytics can be disabled with an add-on available for Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari and Opera. The script that detects visits is disabled.
Cancellation of Cookies
Browsers allow generalized deletion of cookies, or specific to each domain that has been visited not in confidential mode. You can follow this guide to delete cookies from various browsers.

What is the GDPR
On 25 May 2018, the GDPR, acronym for General Data Protection Regulation, issued by the European Union on 27 April 2016 and valid for all subjects of the Union or operating in the EU without the need for any ratification by individual states, comes into force. .
The GDPR is a legislative instrument that serves to standardize the privacy legislation at a European level and replaces the legislative decree 196/2003. The subjects required to comply are the following:
1.
- Companies and organizations based in an EU state
- Companies and organizations operating in third countries but having EU clients.
The goal is to increase the level of trust of Europeans towards all individuals, private or public, who work daily with their personal, sensitive or confidential information. Any fines to offenders for non-compliance with the GDPR will not be immediate. It will start with a warning, then with a reprimand, then with a suspension of data processing, and in the event of continued violation of the rule, only then could the fines arrive.
The first obligation is to have a Privacy Policy, or a document that illustrates how private data is processed. This information must be up to date and contain:
- the purpose of the data processing
- the modality of this treatment
- third-party subjects who store, control and use this data through applications or technologies installed on sites such as Google, Facebook and other players in the sector
- the rights of the navigator
- The details of the data controller or the site administrator.
There must be a legal basis for the processing of personal data and the presence of a consent given by the user for one or more purposes of this data processing.
